How to maintain, manage and use your accounts

What is a Kixy Account?

You can hold a currency account within your Kixy profile that holds funds in a specific currency. Each account has unique account details and operate independently.

Available Accounts

  • Default GBP account provided automatically

  • Option to create 11 additional currency accounts in 12 different currencies

  • Access all supported currencies via the + Add Account button


Adding Money to Your GBP Account

Pay by Bank

  1. Navigate to Accounts

  2. Tap + Add Money

  3. Select Pay by Bank

  4. Select which bank

🧠 Kixy uses Plaid to let you pay with your bank account. A splash page will appear to confirm this once you Pay by Bank

Bank Transfer

  1. Navigate to Accounts

  2. Select + Add Money

  3. Choose Manual bank payment

  4. Use provided details
    - Sort Code
    - Account Number
    - Account Name


Managing Currency Accounts

Adding New Currency Accounts

  1. Tap + Add Account

  2. Select desired currency

Adding Money to Currency Accounts

To pay directly into a currency account:

  1. Select your desired currency account

  2. View the account's international banking details

  3. Use these details to make an international transfer from your bank

  4. Alternatively, you can give these details to someone who is planning to send money into your currency account


Currency Conversion

You can convert money between your Kixy accounts

  1. Tap Convert on the Accounts page

  2. Select the currency you're converting from

  3. Select the currency you wish to convert to

  4. Enter the amount you wish to convert

  5. Press Continue

  6. Review the exchange rate and fees

Important Information

  • Exchange rates are updated in real-time

  • Minimum conversion amounts may apply

  • International transfer fees may apply when sending to currency accounts from another bank
