Requesting money through Kixy is a straightforward process that makes it easy to collect payments from other Kixy users. Whether you're collecting your share of a shared expense, or getting paid back by friends, Kixy's request money feature helps you manage your incoming payments.

Before You Begin

To request money from someone, you'll first need to have them saved as a Contactin your Kixy app. This ensures secure and reliable transactions between users. If you haven't added them yet, you can do so in several ways:

• Using their email address registered with Kixy

• Through their registered mobile number

• By scanning their Kixy QR code

Making a Money Request

Through Chat

The easiest way to request money is through your one-to-one Chat with another Kixy user:

1. Open your Chat conversation with the person you want to request money from

2. Look for the Plus + symbol next to the message input field

3. Tap the Plus + to open the menu

4. Select Request Money

Setting Up Your Request

Once you've selected Request Money, you'll need to:

1. Enter the amount you're requesting

2. Add a description explaining what the request is for

3. Review the details to ensure everything is correct

4. Tap Send Request to submit it

Managing Your Requests

After sending a money request, you can:

• See a notification of the payment

• See a message and the status of your payment request in-chat
