How does Kixy protect my account?

At Kixy, safeguarding your account is our top priority. We employ a range of security features to ensure your data and transactions are secure. These include:

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA): This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring not only your password but also a second authentication step, like a unique code sent to your phone.

  • Privacy mode: When enabled, this hides your balance on your home page and all your wallet's balance

  • Biometric authentication: Use of fingerprint or facial recognition (available on supported devices) for secure and easy access.

  • Encryption: All sensitive data is encrypted, ensuring that your information is protected at every step of your transaction process

  • Secure device management: This gives you the ability to remove devices that you don't recognise. It also lets you know when the last device was online, what device it is and what the IP address is too. You can find this information within Security & Privacy in your settings

  • Device authorisation: When logging in from a new device, we send a notification to inform you that a new device login has been detected.

  • Automatic logout: If you're inactive for a certain period, the app will log you out automatically to reduce the risk of unauthorised access

What should I do if I notice suspicious activity on my account?

If you notice any unauthorised or suspicious activity in your Kixy account, we recommend you:

  • Freeze or unfreeze your card: Within the app, you can temporarily freeze your card. You can also order a new card if you suspect your card details have been compromised

  • Contact Customer Support: Reach out to our Customer Support team immediately through our in-app chat or via email at support@kixy.com and provide us details of the suspicious activity

  • Change your password: Update your account password, app passcode and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if not already activated. You can find this information within Security & Privacy in your settings

  • Secure Device Management: This gives you the ability to remove devices that you don't recognise. It also lets you know when the last device was online, what device it is and what the IP address is too. You can find this information within Security & Privacy in your settings
