Faster Payments are usually processed within seconds and therefore, cannot be cancelled or reversed once made. The receiving bank only checks that the account number is valid (note, it does not verify that the account name and number match). So, please double check the beneficiary's account information before submitting the payment as there is no guarantee that we will be able to recover your money if it is sent to an incorrect account. We do have a process to try to retrieve your money though.
